anticipation

In a couple days, I'll be sitting in the airport with a couple of my classmates, waiting for the appointed meeting time of 8pm. I wonder how long it takes to get over jet lag? At any rate, we're scheduled to hit the ground running, as we start our study tours the morning after we arrive. I wonder if "glorified tourist visit" will accurately describe these study tours, or if they will actually be somewhat academic.
